VEXThe Vex competition is an event, arranged by Microsoft R&D, which gathered all the teams who're sponsored by Microsoft to play a game. Just like the FRC, every year the game is different. This year the mission was to build a robot that can shoot balls into a hole - On each side of the field there were two robots with 5 balls packed each and 3 holes connecting the two sides, while the goal was to get the balls in the right or middle hole. Most of the robots we saw there used gravitation to shoot the balls out, while our robot had a device which pushed the balls out. We've reached the semi-finals in the 1st place; we chose the team from Be'er-Sheva and didn't reach the finals. |
