Animation

During the preparation period Animation crew studied the program "3DsMax" as much as possible so they could do their best with making an animation video.
After studying the program enough they started practicing and made some models. The first model they made was an apple. They designed some more models, like a table, and when they felt ready they started practicing and made several examples of animation clips.

One of their first animations was an exploding meteor. It was a short and simple clip, and was perefect for beginners. The idea for the clip came from the tutorials of the program.

Another animation clip was an hourglass. In this one you could see the sand in the hourglass falling down until it has settled.

When FIRST published the subject of the "Safety" video (which is "Share It" this season), and when the crew felt ready to create their own animation video, they started making it. First, they thought about some unique ideas for the video.
One of the best ideas was a man cutting a metal using a saw, while the sparks of the metal are flying around him. A moment before the sparks touch his eyes an angel stops time ,puts safety goggles on his face and makes the time keep moving.
Here we can see the importance of the safety goggles - without the goggles he could have become blind.

Another idea, which we found to be the best one, was a man watching the other team at the pit of the regional tournament of the FRC, when suddenly he notices an exposed wire, which can be very dangerous and could make thier robot burn up. The man decides to help the other team, and tell them about thier mistake.

At last, after the team saw all the optional storyboards, we chose the storyboard of the exposed wire, because we thought this storyboard shows gracious professionalism and as such, the ideals of our team better - to "share" what we know and help other teams in FIRST.
In addition to the animation itself, the background music of the video is also made by us. Using the program "Anvil Studio", some of our team members that has knowledge in the program and in music generally wrote the background music of the video.

Two days after the kickoff FIRST published the requirements for the animation video. Then, the Animation crew, with the whole team, decided about the main idea of the video, just like with the "Safety" animation video, and started working on it.

Here is the final result of the animation video:
